Terms & Conditions

These are the terms that a user agrees to and uses so that the user is aware of dos and don'ts:

  1. At Cargocharges.com, we provide a platform that allows brands such as FedEx, DHL, and UPS to offer their services to customers. Our platform enables clients to view shipping rates, request parcel pickups, and hand over their shipments to the selected brand. As a result, we are responsible for providing customer service and handling claims until the parcel is handed over to the respective brand.

  2. Afterwards, the consignee needs to contact the brand directly for any issues after the handover or manifest of the third party taking the parcel assigned by these brands.

"If the courier returns the package due to any reason, the sender will be responsible for paying the return charges."

  3. The sender must pay additional charges for remote and extended delivery areas, regardless of brand.

  4. The sender will be responsible for paying any redirection charges resulting from an incorrect delivery address or the need for reshipment.

  5. The sender should not deduct for delayed delivery as our KPI is to connect parcels to a selected brand network.

  6. It's important for the sender to understand that in the unfortunate event of shipment loss, the carrier (such as UPS, DHL, FedEx, and others) may offer compensation in the form of a value and amount. Therefore, it is necessary for the sender to agree to accept this compensation in advance to avoid any confusion or disputes later on.

  7. The sender is responsible for covering all customs duties, handling charges, finance fees, entry fees, and other applicable taxes. In the event that the recipient declines to pay these charges, they will be added to the sender's account. Additionally, service tax may be applied in India, which is an extra charge on the duty amount.

  8. To ensure safe and reliable transit of packages, the sender should accurately declare the contents and their value, properly pack the contents to avoid damages, and consider external insurance. Improper declaration of contents or their value can lead to consequences while improper packaging can cause damage during transit. External insurance can provide additional coverage to protect your package.

  9. The sender must agree to pay a penalty of Rs 5000 to Rs 25000 per shipment if the item sent is illegal, undeclared, or prohibited.

  10. Just a friendly reminder - once you've submitted your papers, no further corrections can be accepted. So, make sure to double-check everything before hitting that submit button!

  11. To be eligible for credit, the sender must have an account based on their business volume.

  12. When shipping items, the sender is responsible for paying the chargeable weight, which is the higher value between volumetric weight and actual weight. Volumetric weight is calculated by multiplying the length, width, and height of the package (in cm), and then dividing the result by 5000. Actual weight, on the other hand, is the weight of the package itself. The higher weight will be used for shipping charges.

  13. The sender will be charged Rs 1999 + GST for changing the address, if the correct address is provided.

  14. The sender will be charged a pickup fee of at least Rs. 500, in addition to Rs. 15 per KM. If there are multiple pickup locations, or if pickups are cancelled or repeated for any reason, extra charges will apply.

Kindly note that if the sender or consignor wishes to cancel the delivery after the pickup has been done, a charge of 25% of the total bill value for courier services will be applicable. This amount includes management fees, customer support, cancellation charges, pickup charges, and return charges. However, in case the cancellation is done within 10 days of the invoice generation, no warehouse charges will be applied for the first 10 days. After this period, if the client wishes to use our warehouse, a charge of 1000/- per week will be applicable. It is important to note that if the client chooses not to use our warehouse, they will not have.

  1. All disputes are subject to Delhi jurisdiction only.

  2. The commercial clearance charges for sending a commercial shipment are an additional Rs 3200, to be paid by the sender.

  3. Dynamic fuel surcharges and service taxes are applicable to the provided rates. It is the sender's responsibility to regularly check the fuel surcharge.

  4. Please be aware that the rates for our shipping services may change at any time, as a result of adjustments made by airlines or the principal brand. To avoid any confusion, we recommend that you check our website or contact us directly to receive the most up-to-date information before booking any shipments with Cargocharges.com

  5. The maximum weight per package is 29 kg, or a length over 160 cm incurs special handling charges.

  6. Warehouse charges of 10 per kg per day or 100 rs per day (whichever is higher) apply if a shipment is held in our office for more than two days. The sender is responsible for paying these charges.

  7. The sender must mention "made of" with each article or include it on the invoice.

  8. If sending a wooden article, it is mandatory to provide a fumigation certificate.

  9. Sender should take care of all the packing requirements in plywood, including two handles, hinges to open the box, hasp, locks, and pallets.

  10. If the packing requirements are not fulfilled due to any reason and the sender collects the parcel in person from our office, non-booking charges will apply. On availability, we can also arrange to drop the hold packet back at the pickup location for an additional charge.

  11. If we find improper packing, we will repack the contents (additional packing charges will apply).

  12. Packing should be in a plain box with a recommended density of 7 ply or 9 ply.

  13. In case of improper invoicing or invoice not available, we have the authority to change the invoice and make it as per the requirement on behalf of the client.

  14. We recommend the sender to check the waybill details at the time of pickup, including spellings of the consignor and consignee, complete address, zip code, and contact number details.

  15. For same-day connections, we need the courier with us before 4 pm (in case of FedEx) or 7 pm (for DHL, UPS, Aramex, and self) at our office (Sundays off).

  16. For clients with accounts, we will generate a bill every Monday and send it to your postal address or email.

  17. In case the bill is not fully paid before the due date or if a cheque bounces, late fee charges of Rs. 500 and 5% extra as credit control charges will be applied to the total amount.

  18. If the invoice is over 3 months old and we haven't received warehouse charges, after 3 payment reminders, we are authorized to abandon, destroy, or forfeit the shipment. Any claims after abandonment, destruction, or forfeiture will not be entertained.
