CGFNS recently rebranded as TruMerit — documents still route to the Philadelphia office above. Ordinary mail goes to their PO Box (PO Box 8658, Philadelphia PA 19101-8658), but couriers must use the street address: PO Boxes cannot receive courier deliveries.

Reference: CGFNS ID number from your online account — on every document, the envelope and our courier label
Envelope: Nursing credentials mostly must come from the ISSUING AUTHORITY: your nursing school and nursing council (e.g. the State Nursing Council) send verifications directly in their sealed envelopes. We regularly ship these institution-origin envelopes on the school's or council's behalf — sealed, with your CGFNS ID marked.

You share your CGFNS ID and the checklist from your CES/VisaScreen application.
We identify which envelopes must originate from your nursing school or council and coordinate that pickup — mixed or student-sealed envelopes are rejected.
CGFNS ID on each envelope and the airway bill; same-day dispatch before the 1:30 PM cutoff.
Door-tracked to Philadelphia; status appears in your CGFNS online account after processing.

CGFNS document review commonly runs several weeks after receipt (CES reports and VisaScreen have their own queues). The online account is the source of truth for received/accepted status — track our AWB to the door, then their portal.

Deadline guidance

NCLEX eligibility and VisaScreen certificates gate US nursing jobs — most applicants work backwards from a state board deadline or an employer start date. Nursing council verifications in India can take weeks BEFORE anything ships, so start the council paperwork first and book the courier when envelopes are ready.

Identity documents and forms, yes; academic and licensure verifications, no — those must come from the nursing school and nursing council in their sealed envelopes. We pick up from the institution directly, which keeps the chain clean.

CGFNS or TruMerit — which name goes on the label?

Same organisation — CGFNS International rebranded as TruMerit. Labels addressed to CGFNS International at the 3600 Market Street office deliver correctly; we track their published guidance and update labels if they change it.
