WES displays the current document address inside your WES account after you create a reference number. At booking we match our label to your account screen — if WES has updated anything, your account wins.

Reference number & envelope rules

Reference: WES reference number (7 digits) — written on the sealed envelope AND printed on our courier label
Envelope: Transcripts must be inside the envelope SEALED AND STAMPED by your university registrar. WES rejects opened or student-sealed envelopes. We never open institutional envelopes — they travel intact inside our courier flyer.

You share your WES reference number and a screenshot of the document instructions from your WES account.
We verify the reference format and match the address on our label to your account screen.
The reference number goes on the sealed envelope and on the airway bill.
Same-day dispatch from Delhi before the 1:30 PM cutoff; you get the AWB to track to the door.

WES processing after delivery (their clock)

WES logs receipt in its system typically 2-4 business days after courier delivery, then the ECA review runs (commonly quoted at about 7-14 business days for standard ECA once documents are complete). Track both stages: our AWB to the door, then your WES account for "documents received".

Deadline guidance

IRCC Express Entry draws run year-round, but university applicants: fall-intake (Aug-Sep) and January-intake cycles create WES mailroom peaks — documents sent in June-August meet fall deadlines comfortably; add a buffer week in peak season.

What happens if my WES reference number is missing from the envelope?

The parcel is delivered but sits unmatched in the WES mailroom — the most common cause of "WES never received my documents". We refuse to dispatch without the reference on both the envelope and the label; that rule protects your application.

Can WES Canada accept my transcripts digitally instead of by courier?

Only if your university is on WES's digital network (many Indian private universities are; most state universities are not). Check the sending-institution list in your WES account first — if yours is listed, you may not need a courier at all.

How much does couriering documents to WES Canada cost?
